Visit the Reclaimed Flambeau Mine site

Located alongside the beautiful Flambeau River in northern Wisconsin, the reclaimed Flambeau mine site offers hiking and nature trails and adjacent equestrian trails through thriving woodland, grassland and wetland areas. Bird-watching is spectacular. The site is teeming with wildlife with hundreds of species of birds, plants and trees are thriving on the site. Newly opened multi-use equestrian trails are among the few riding trails in Rusk County.

How to get to the site

The reclaimed Flambeau mine site is located on Wisconsin Highway 27 and is about 1.5 miles south of the city of Ladysmith, in Rusk County, Wisconsin.
