Located alongside the beautiful Flambeau River in northern Wisconsin, the Reclaimed Flambeau Mine Nature Trails & Recreation Area offers hiking and nature trails and adjacent equestrian trails through thriving woodland, grassland and wetland areas. Bird-watching at the site is spectacular. The site is teeming with wildlife, and there are hundreds of thriving bird species, plants and trees. The site’s multi-use equestrian trails are among the few riding trails in Rusk County.

HOW TO GET TO THE SITE
The reclaimed Flambeau mine site is located on Wisconsin Highway 27 and is about 1.5 miles south of the City of Ladysmith, in Rusk County, Wisconsin.
